Downtown Business Improvement District (DBID)

The DBID, also known as "The Parkway" was established by Ordinance 03-07 on February 6th, 2007. The DBID is operated by a Board of Directors elected by business owners within the district with funding from assessments charged to those same businesses.


Currently, the DBID oversees, supports and coordinates the following:

  • Pedestrian area refuse collection
  • Holiday tree lighting

  • Flower potting throughout the Parkway
