The City owns and manages approximately 2,466 acres of land north of Richland called the Horn Rapids Industrial Park and Business Center.
1,391 acres have been sold and/or developed leaving 1075 acres remaining for sale. In preparation for sale and future development the city has invested in extensive expansion of utility and telecommunications infrastructure to the benefit of our manufacturing and industrial operators, both present and future.
In addition there is another 1,641 acres that were added to the Industrial Park in 2018 and are currently being master planned for large 100+ acre developments.
|In partnership with the Port of Benton, Richland continues to expand the industrial operations of Horn Rapids. The City invested in a complete rail loop, which improves accessibility to several large manufacturing sites. The loop can accommodate an entire unit train, and is served by rail from BNSF, and Union Pacific.|
