New Richland City Hall Opens on Tuesday, May 28
The historic Richland City Hall will permanently close its doors to the public at 5:00 p.m., on Friday, May 24. The City will reopen for business on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in the new location at 625 Swift Boulevard.
The old Richland City Hall opened in 1958 and included the original Richland City jail.
For the past several weeks, staff from three separate, aging facilities have been transitioning into the new location which stands on the corner of Swift Blvd. and Jadwin Ave., just north of the federal building.
When the doors open on Tuesday, after the Memorial Day holiday, customers will find many of Richland’s service divisions under one roof. This includes the City Manager’s Office, City Attorney’s Office, Administrative Services (including Human Resources, Customer Service and Finance), Public Works, Development Services (including planning, permitting, housing and economic development), Richland Energy Services Energy Efficiency Program and Communications & Marketing.
We appreciate the patience of our citizens as we navigate this significant effort. A Grand Opening event is scheduled for June 10th from 4-6 pm.
