The City of Richland joined community leaders and business partners to celebrate the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new
Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) branch in Richland on February 24, 2026.
Lukas Camacho opened the ceremony and introduced ICCU CEO Brenda Worrell, who spoke about the organization’s continued growth and commitment to serving members across the region. Mayor Theresa Richardson officially proclaimed February 24, 2026, as “ICCU Day” in the City of Richland, recognizing ICCU’s investment in the community and its role in strengthening the local economy. Richland Chamber of Commerce President Jarrod Miller also shared remarks welcoming ICCU to the business community.
As part of the celebration, ICCU presented a donation to the
Tri-Cities Diaper Bank. Jen Carreiro accepted the donation on behalf of the organization, highlighting the positive impact it will have on local families.
The event concluded with the introduction of ICCU’s Richland branch staff, followed by the official ribbon cutting.
Founded in 1940, ICCU has grown to serve members across multiple states and is consistently recognized as one of the top credit unions in the nation for returning value to its members. The new Richland branch reflects ICCU’s continued investment in the Tri-Cities region and its commitment to helping members achieve financial success now and for generations to come.
