American Cruise Lines will return to Richland in 2026 as part of its Columbia and Snake River itineraries, bringing steady visitor traffic to the Lee Blvd dock from April 2 through November 16, 2026.
2026 Season Highlights:
- First Arrival: April 2, 2026
- Last Scheduled Visit: November 16, 2026
- Total Scheduled Ship Visits: 150
- Number of Ships Visiting: 6 (including the new American Encore)
- Some days will include multiple ships in port
Cruise passengers typically arrive with structured tours and transportation already arranged. While they may not be seeking full dining experiences, many are interested in:
- Locally made goods and specialty retail
- Unique gifts and regional products
- Quick, easy purchases they can take back on board
- Authentic, locally rooted businesses
Visibility and convenience matter. Clear signage, welcoming storefronts, and staff who know when ships are in port can make a difference.
Adding your business (and a special offer) to the Richland Small Business Passport is one of the easiest ways to help visitors discover you. The Passport program gives cruise guests (and other visitors) a ready-made guide to participating businesses and provides added incentive to stop in. Even a small promotion or featured item can increase foot traffic on ship days.
With thoughtful preparation and coordinated visibility, the 2026 cruise season can be a strong opportunity for Richland businesses.
